John Benton holds a science doctorate from the University of Sussex and is the co-pastor of Chertsey Street Baptist Church, Guildford, Surrey. He is Managing Editor of the monthly newspaper, Evangelicals Now . He is married to Ann, who is also an author, and with whom he has jointly written a number of books. They have three sons and a daughter.
